My DVD RW drive not working and detected. I was trying a few types of DVD in my laptop but nothing work. All DVD and CD are working on my other laptop. After receiving this error, I am trying to solve this issue from the web but nothing work for me. I was updating my DVD RW drivers with latest drivers, but not worked. How To Fix CD/DVD Drive Not Working or Detected
Search “Device Manager” and open it.
Now Expand DVD/CD-ROM drives.
Right-click on your DVD RW drive and click Update Driver Software.
Click “Browse my computer for driver software”.
Click “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”.
Select CD-ROM drive and click Next.
That’s it, you will see “Windows has successfully updated your driver software” dialog box.
