PNP_DETECTED_FATAL_ERROR BSOD error is faced by lots of users, most of the time this blue screen of death error occurs after installation of windows update. In other side it is also caused by the antivirus named Norton antivirus. The error is caused by the driver, software and other PNP device. So here are the fixes that may help you to fix.

Fix 1: Update Windows 10 (Easiest)
Check for the latest updates in windows update to get all the fixes in one place.
Step 1: Press windows key and type ‘’check for the updates’’.
Step 2: Now, click on the’’ check for the updates’’. Click on the ‘’install’’ if you are using metered connection.
Fix 2: Updating Drivers
Updating drivers can solve the issue if the main problem is from driver side. Go to manufacturer’s website and download latest drivers and install them. Some of the drivers will get auto installed on windows update.
TIP: Update all drivers on your computer If possible to get problem get fixed fast.
Fix 3: Try Removing Antivirus
The antivirus programs run in the high priority and on the admin level privileges so it uses core system files of the windows so it can easily interfere with the windows system files and make BSOD. And some of the antivirus are making more BSOD so the ideal way is to try uninstalling them and check for the errors if persist or not.
Note: If you are using windows defender only then do not remove it.
Fix 4: Remove Problematic (BUGGY) Software (SAFE MODE)
The software run in normal priority and they are in the user normal privileges but some of the software can run or always run in administrator privileges level and interfere with the system files of the windows. Some of software starts with the windows so they can also interfere with the booting of the windows. Try searching for the any recently installed software and try removing them and check for the problem.
Fix 5: Check All Connected Hardware
Check out USB panels, PCIE slots, front panels, Sound cards, Graphics cards, RAMs etc or find out newly installed hardware or device and try temporary removing them and try restarting and rebooting the PC.
Fix 6: Fresh Installation of Windows
The last hope is fresh install of Windows or restore a image backup that is previously created on the on the backup drive.
Most of the time this error is easily fixed by updating windows and removing interfering software and hardware.
